Hemoglobal is a fully registered charitable organization working to provide medical equipment and treatment to Sri Lankan children with thalassemia, an inherited life-threatening blood disorder. Based in Toronto Canada since November 2004, Hemoglobal is made up of a team of international thalassemia health professionals including Drs. Olivieri and Weatherall.
CECILIA KIM
Cecilia graduated from the Univerisity of Toronto with a Specialist in Environment and Health and a Major in Human Biology and from Ryerson University with a Certificate in Project Mangement. She has worked with Dr. Nancy Olivieri at the University Health Network since 2000 and plays an integral role in initiating projects, obtaining funding and facilitating collaboration between international centres.
